Virginia Spotts is a writer, actor, fiction podcaster, and aspiring death doula. You might know her as a Producer, Co-Writer, and Actress from The Sheridan Tapes.

In her work, she writes on themes of grief and loss, religious trauma, queerness, and the haunting mingling of horror, humor, and heartbreak.

With a background in theatre and writing, Virginia has worked in Albuquerque (NM), Kansas City (MO), Seattle (WA), and Mammoth Lakes (CA) in independent film and theatre, among other odd jobs. They’ve taken lessons learned from those odd jobs to become a fiction podcast producer, alongside writing and acting for a variety of fiction podcasts. In 2023, she trained as a death doula, which was inspired from the lessons learned during grieving her stillborn son, Rainier, in May 2019.
